The Birthday of Sri Guru Narasimha Saraswati Maharaj, the Kshetradhipati of Sri Kshetra Ganagapur, is celebrated on Poushya Shuddha Dwitiya which generally falls in the Month of January. Special Poojas are conducted since the early morning and Vishesha Keshara Lepan is done to the Nirguna Padukas. Special Bhajans and Nama Sankirtana of Datta Guru is done in front side of the Temple and at 12pm the Cradle Ceremony (Palana) is Celebrated in the Nirgun Math Temple Premises. Thousands of Devotees visit the Temple since early morning to get a Holy Glimpse of Bala Swaroopa Sri Narasimha Saraswati Swami. Rest all programs are similar to that of Sri Datta Jayanti described earlier. Vishesha Saptahika Seva is started 7 days before by way of Parayan, Deeparadhana and Bhiksha Annadanam.
In Sri Guru Charitra we see how Sri Narasimha Saraswati Maharaj has expressed his love for Music on several occasions and while proceeding to Srisailam he has himself said that whoever worships him by way of Gayana Seva is blessed by him in no time. Keeping this in mind Special Sangeeta Sammelan is being conducted for 2 days from the day of Janmotsav by Sri Narasimha Saraswati Sangeeta Seva Samiti since last 3 decades as a seva at his Lotus Feet. Eminent singers from various parts of the country participate in this event and get blessed by Lord Dattatreya at Ganagapur.

Paduka Pooja, Guru Charitra Parayanam and Sri Datta Yagam (Homam) can be performed on this Day.
